At Nkọlịka Women Foundation For Art and Culture, our mission is to empower women to discover and fulfill their potential through the arts. We believe in the transformative power of creativity to connect, heal, and inspire.

🌿 1. Empowerment through Education & Mentorship

Tree Art Workshops: Conduct by monthly via workshops in schools and communities where women and girls learn “Tree Art” and other creative practices inspired by nature.
Mentorship Program: Pair established women artists with young emerging ones for guidance, portfolio review, and career development.
Story & Proverbs Circles: Host monthly storytelling sessions where women share indigenous wisdom and life experiences, linking them to visual art creation.

🎨 2. Artistic Development & Cultural Preservation

Heritage Documentation Project: Collect oral histories, proverbs, and traditional art forms through photography, video, and writing; then archive them digitally and physically.
Community Murals & Installations: Collaborate with local women to create public artworks that celebrate women’s strength, heritage, and connection to nature.
Art-in-Nature Residencies: Invite women artists to create site-specific works inspired by trees, the environment, and local culture.
